Sunday, Nov 10th – the excitement really begins. This morning for our first landing we headed to Half Moon Island in the South Shetlands. The island is a big breeding ground for Chinstrap Penguins. There was one Macaroni Penguin hiding in the group, but we couldn’t catch him. There were also some Gentoo Penguins but this stop was mainly about the Chinstraps.
