Our trip was to the area of the Antarctic Peninsula, which is the part of Antarctica closest to South America. In November there is still a lot of ice and you can't go far south. There aren't many places to make a landing on the peninsula and the expeditions try to make one landing there. We were one of the lucky ones to succeed.
