Sunday, the 19th, was an easier day. We visited the Temple of Esna. The temple sits in its excavation pit right in the middle of town. The columns were quite beautiful and retained many of their colors. Since we had to 'run the gauntlet' of shops on the way back to the ship, I guess it didn't hurt to do a little bit of shopping.
