Vacations | Ireland-2014 | 044 Anglican
The first day of touring was about politics, the second day was about religion (yeah, they’re inextricably linked in Northern Ireland.) After a lecture on St. Patrick we took a trip to Amaragh, the religious center of Ireland. The headquarters of both the Anglican and the Catholic churches are here.
We first visited the St. Patrick’s Cathedral (Anglican). This cathedral is built on the site that St. Patrick originally built his church and over the centuries it has been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times.
