Our next stop was Huatulco, a rather new resort in southern Mexico. The Mexican federal government has supported this project to bring tourism and economic development to this area. Although the port itself is less than 2 years only, the overall effort has been ongoing for 10-15 years. It consists of beautiful 5-star hotels and all-inclusive resorts stretched along 7 or 8 neighboring bays.
