Saturday – Today was an easy day. We got to sleep late and then we headed to Civitavecchia and the ship to begin our cruise. When we got to the port, it looked like a long wait, but in reality we were in our cabin about ½ hour later. We had lunch, toured the ship, signed up for massages … all the necessities. Sunday – This day was spent at sea. The captain made it more interesting by taking us close to both Monte Cristo (pictured) and Elba. After all the running around in Rome, it was nice to have some time to relax.
