Our guide Sedat met us at the airport. Besides being a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Sedat excelled at finding the most delicious restaurants, introducing us to all different types of Turkish cuisine. Although we knew we wouldn’t last long, we had to get right out into the city for a little bit of sightseeing and some dinner before collapsing. We toured the underground cistern and enjoyed strolling past the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia before enjoying a wonderful kebap dinner and heading to bed early.
