Yes, it’s a real touristy thing to do, but the show was fun. We saw several folk dances from different areas of the country as well as some belly dancing. Between the tour and the show, this was a very long day! The next and final day in Turkey was dedicated to shopping. We spent most of the day at the Grand Bazaar. By the time we were done, we were getting the hang of bargaining for a good price. I guess that means we’re ready for our next trip to Istanbul!

In the afternoon, we visited Chora Church (first a church, then a mosque, then a church again and finally a museum) and saw some of the most beautiful and well preserved mosaics and frescoes.
